River Flooding

The National Weather Service is predicting the Neuse River near Goldsboro to crest Wednesday. The flooding is due to heavy rain-fall in the Raleigh-Durham area. Goldsboro received nearly 2 inches of rain and experienced some street flooding due to Alberto, but the Raleigh-Durham area received much more rain that is running down stream.

You can find out more about the river level at the National Weather Service's Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Center web page.
