Don't Open That Email

Looks like we need to remind everyone again not to open emails or attachments from strange emails. Several new variations of previous virus have emerged in the last week that are spreading throughout the internet, and the only way to become infected is to open the attachment in the email. If you receive an email from the CIA, FBI, or any other agency that says your IP has been logged or other statements, they are from a virus that will infect your computer if you open the attachment. If you think about it, why would those agencies send you an email like that to begin with? They wouldn't!

So, as we've said many times before, don't open those emails and be sure to have current anti-virus program and up-to-date definitions. You should also have anti-spyware software such as Webroot's SpySweeper installed and updated on your computer as well. Some of the newer anti-virus programs offer some protection, but SpySweeper is the best we've discovered.
