No Spam

We want to make the internet experience as nice as possible for all and therefore have a zero tolerance policy regarding Unsolicited Commercial Email (Spam). Any Spam activity will be turned over to law enforcement and accounts terminated. Sending out Unsolicited Commercial Email is illegal. (Public Law 108-187 108th Congress)

Here are some hints on how you can help prevent receiving Spam:

1.Before placing your email address on a web site, check out their Privacy Policy to be sure you know what that company will do with your information
2.Get a 2nd email address that you use only for web site submissions, one that you can change when necessary.
3.Use the BCC and request that your friends use the BCC for any group mailing. Using the BCC protects all email addresses from others seeing it
4.Never respond to any Spam in any way. Asking to be removed may stop that Spammer, but it also validates your email address for more Spam from other senders.
5.Report spam to the ISP of the sender and to spam@uce.gov email address. You'll need to send the full headers with the original email. Don't try responding to the email address in the "From" as it is most likely fake. To get the headers in Outlook Express, click on the File, Properties, and then the Detail tab. In Outlook, click on View and Options. Your email program may vary somewhat, but it is absolutely necessary to view the headers to determine the source of the email.
6.Never put your email address on your web page. Instead, use a contact form that hides the email address totally from the sender. We have a form available. Give us a call for more details.

Keep in mind that some commercial email is legal. For example, a business may send you email regarding your account or other useful information because they have a relationship with you already.

If you don't want to bother with looking up the headers and sending notices to the sending parties, just delete the email without opening it. Give us a call if you have any questions.
